Aitmatov Readings at KNU Gathered Students from Kyrgyzstan and Russia

Events such as the quiz "Planet Aitmatov" and the public talk "Be Like Aitmatov" were held at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn as part of the "Aitmatov Readings" forum.

The organizers of this event were the Moscow State Linguistic University from Moscow and the Institute of Journalism and Communication of KNU named after J. Balasagyn.

During the forum, the results of the competition "Reading Aitmatov in Different Languages of the World" were announced. Students from the Institute of History and Regional Studies of KNU took first place with a video titled "Mother's Field." The audience choice award went to first-year students of the Institute of Journalism and Communication specializing in International Journalism for their work "Red Apple."

The event was attended by students and teachers from various educational institutions, including KNU named after J. Balasagyn, Moscow State Linguistic University (Moscow, Russia), B. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, and I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State University.

The quiz "Planet Aitmatov" was an exciting journey through the works and biography of the outstanding writer. Participants had the opportunity to answer questions, solve logical tasks, and use audio hints, allowing them to demonstrate their knowledge and interest in Aitmatov's legacy.

The competition "Reading Aitmatov in Different Languages of the World" became an important platform for showcasing the creative potential of students, demonstrating the relevance of the writer's legacy for youth.

The "Aitmatov Readings" forum brought together students and teachers from different countries and cities, becoming a significant platform for promoting the cultural heritage of Chinghiz Aitmatov and strengthening cooperation between universities.
