Erlan Tyinbaevich Karin, the State Advisor of Kazakhstan, emphasized the importance of further strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries in his speech.
Marat Imankulov also noted that Aitmatov's work plays a key role in strengthening the spiritual connection between the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples, and announced that the year 2028 in Kyrgyzstan will be dedicated to this outstanding writer.
He expressed gratitude to both the Kyrgyz creative team and the Kazakh organizers for the successful implementation of the musical "Jamilya," which has become a symbol of the cultural unity of the two fraternal nations.
The musical was presented to the Kazakh audience by the creative team of the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov.
