This event was part of the implementation of the decrees of President Sadyr Japarov regarding the creation of conditions for the in-depth study and popularization of the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" and its significance for the national spirit.
In his welcoming speech, Imankulov noted that the forty knights depicted in the epic "Manas" embody the great cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, symbolizing the unity of the nation, its aspiration for freedom, and spiritual values. He emphasized that these characters are not only mythical but also represent examples of courage, unity, and loyalty, reflecting true patriotism and the defense of their people and land.
The Secretary expressed confidence that the book would become an important resource for forming ideological foundations among the youth, contributing to the strengthening of national self-awareness and the restoration of historical memory. The presented edition describes in detail the heroism and historical significance of the forty companions of Manas, based on the academic publications of Sagynbai Orozbak uulu and Sayakbay Karala uulu.
Imankulov also highlighted the importance of continuing deep scientific, historical, and cultural research on the epic "Manas" throughout the country. He is confident that the development of new books and educational materials will contribute to the upbringing of the youth and the dissemination of the spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
Moreover, he emphasized the necessity of active participation from university teachers, school educators, and students in spreading knowledge about national spiritual values and the profound meaning of the epic "Manas".
The Secretary called on all sectors of society, including institutions and organizations, to support the popularization and transmission of these values to new generations.
