According to the information from the mayor's office, this event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
A total of 31 cities from across the country participated in the competition. The award ceremony took place on November 10 in Bishkek as part of the national youth forum "Kyrgyzstan of My Dreams" ("Кыялымдагы Кыргызстан"), which was attended by President Sadyr Japarov.
The award was presented to Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev by State Secretary Marat Imankulov.
As a result of the competition, the city of Manas took 1st place, Naryn secured 2nd place, and Kara-Kul came in 3rd.
