At the event held at Akorda on November 24, participants of the Silk Way Star megaproject were awarded prizes on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
State Advisor Erlan Karin presented high awards to the organizers and participants of the prestigious international competition Silk Way Star on behalf of the president.
Misheel Joseph, representing Mongolia and becoming the winner of the Silk Way Star competition, was awarded the Order of "Dostyk" II degree (Order of Friendship II degree) for her outstanding achievements in musical art and for her contribution to strengthening friendship between nations. Several participants and organizers of the project were also recognized with a letter of gratitude from the president.
Erlan Karin, the state advisor, expressed gratitude to the main organizers of the project – the Presidential Television and Radio Complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the China Media Group. He noted that the Silk Way Star music competition has become a successful international project that has significantly strengthened friendship between the countries of the region and demonstrated the unity of the traditions and values of the peoples.
