
Fatima Bosh from Mexico has been crowned 'Miss Universe', as reported by The Philippine Star.
The crown was presented to her by Victoria Tailwig, the current 'Miss Universe 2024' from Denmark. The first runner-up was a representative from Thailand, while the third, fourth, and fifth places went to participants from Venezuela, the Philippines, and Côte d'Ivoire, respectively.
The competition took place in Bangkok at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.
After her victory, Fatima Bosh shared her thoughts on her new status: "I want to wear this crown as a symbol of light in dark times, inspiring girls and women to believe in their strength and significance," she said.
The new 'Miss Universe' also spoke about her personal life, noting: "I don't have a boyfriend. Love can wait," Fatima added with a smile.
Fatima is 1.74 meters tall and is 25 years old. She is a graduate of the Ibero-American University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in fashion design.
