In the photo: the organizer of the "Miss Universe" pageant in Thailand, Nawat Itsaragrisil, accused Fatima Bosh from Mexico of incompetence during the scandal
According to media reports, Nawat Itsaragrisil publicly reprimanded Fatima for her absence at a sponsor photo session and demanded an explanation from her. The Mexican contestant stated that she was unable to attend due to necessary approvals with the national organization. In response, the organizer insulted her and ordered her to be quiet, after which he called security.
“If someone does not wish to participate in the contest, leave the hall!” — he addressed the other contestants.
Along with several other contestants, Fatima Bosh left the event.
As a result of the incident, the main office of "Miss Universe" issued a press release expressing its apologies and condemning Nawat Itsaragrisil's actions. In turn, the organizer also apologized to Fatima.
No disciplinary measures were taken. The fate of "Miss Mexico" remains uncertain, however, she has already gained popularity on social media.
