This time in the "Unique Names" section, we will get to know Polina Idrisova, who lives in Kemin, Chuy region.

The story about her was told by her paternal grandmother, Fatima Imankulova.

Fatima shared that her granddaughter's name was chosen in honor of her old friend.

“Polina is my granddaughter, she is 12 years old and studies in the 6th grade. She was born in Orlovka and is the middle child of three: she has an older brother, Almazbek, and a younger sister, Feruza. I decided to name her Polina because I had a close friend with the same name in my childhood. She was Russian and possessed wonderful human qualities. In her honor, I named my granddaughter,” Fatima Imankulova said.
Polina studies in the 6th "A" grade at secondary school No. 2 named after Azamat Surantaev in Kemin and is actively involved in music, playing the komuz and performing pop songs.

“Since the beginning of her schooling, Polina has received only A's. She also attends a music school, where she studies the komuz and piano, participates in various competitions, and wins awards. Three years ago, she took part in the children's competition 'Kemin Star.' At that time, Aigul Kurmanalieva, the deputy akim, noted her talent and continues to invite Polina to various events, believing in her bright future. For the 80th anniversary of Victory, Aigul, now the head of the Kemin district state administration, involved Polina in congratulating the veterans. Her performance moved everyone present to tears, including 105-year-old Belek apa, who blessed her,” Imankulova added.

Grandmother expressed pride in her granddaughter.
