The main tasks of the career guidance center include:

conducting professional testing and individual consultations;

organizing meetings with specialists from various professions;

excursions to enterprises and educational institutions;

participation in job and career fairs.

To determine the interests and skills of high school students, the "Interest Navigator" tests and other methods are used to assess professional, social, and personal qualities. From January to October 2025, 5,754 students from 76 schools in the city underwent testing.

Meetings with specialists have also become part of the career guidance work: during this period, 4 meetings were held for 142 students from schools No. 75, 91, and 50. Excursions to enterprises allowed 92 students from school No. 68 to familiarize themselves with working conditions and educational programs, including visits to the Hyatt Regency Bishkek hotel and the S. Chokmorov Professional Lyceum No. 10.

Job and career fairs provide students with the opportunity to learn about various career opportunities. For example, on April 22, 381 students from 7 schools attended an event at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, and on October 2, 520 high school students from 10 schools participated at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev. These events included testing, games, quizzes, and a master class titled "Secrets of Success."
