According to information provided by the ministry, 8 participants were selected as a result of an open competition.
This program is part of the cooperation between the Ministries of Science of both countries and covers key areas of scientific research such as medicine, agriculture, geology, seismology, ecology, green economy, biotechnology, and industrialization.
When selecting the winners, professional skills and the level of English proficiency were taken into account, rather than the possession of an academic degree. Participants must not be older than 45 years, and the internship will last from 3 to 12 months.
The ministry tasked the young scientists during the internship to study the Chinese experience in the field of socio-economic development and improving living conditions of the population in their scientific areas. After completing the program, each participant will present their scientific and technical project aimed at solving social problems in Kyrgyzstan, based on the knowledge and experience gained in leading scientific and educational institutions in China.
On October 30, the Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, Kemel Sadykov, met with the internship participants. He emphasized that participation in this program is a significant achievement, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and a commitment to development in the scientific field.
“This internship is not just training, but a chance to see the level of world science, familiarize yourself with advanced technologies, and exchange experiences. Each of you contributes to the future of Kyrgyz science,” noted the deputy minister.
He added that young researchers should study the scientific and technological experience of China in their fields and apply the knowledge gained to implement projects that contribute to the development of Kyrgyzstan.
