According to the statement by Alexey Poida, the first secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan for education and science, there are over 10,000 students from Kyrgyzstan studying in Russian universities.

Poida noted that preparations are currently underway to launch a project for the construction of a new campus of the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU), which will be aimed at high school graduates studying in primary and secondary grades.

“The goal of these initiatives is to create conditions for the upbringing of future generations of Kyrgyz youth, with whom teachers work daily. It is important to discuss issues related to changes in the national education system and the integration of our educational standards in the face of modern challenges,” he added.

The main task for school teachers remains the high quality of teaching the Russian language, which serves as a connecting link between our peoples and countries. Attention should also be paid to informing children about joint historical moments, the contribution of ancestors to achieving the common Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the development of Kyrgyzstan and Russia as independent states. Cooperation in the humanitarian sphere between our countries has been and continues to be an important element of strategic partnership. We are ready to support educational projects in the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan and actively collaborate with interested organizations and educational institutions,” Poida concluded.
