At the opening of the School Directors Forum, Alexey Poida, the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, emphasized that the leaders of Russia and Kyrgyzstan pay special attention to the development of national educational systems, which are currently undergoing significant changes.

At the initiative of the presidents of the two countries, a joint working group was established in 2025 to create a unified educational space.

“In the near future, we plan to launch programs for preschool education in the Russian language, as well as develop joint textbooks and implement motivational support schemes for educators. Russia continues to provide significant assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the field of school education. Currently, preparations are underway for the construction of nine modern schools that will be able to educate 11,000 students. These institutions will be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, furniture, and educational materials. Education will be conducted in both Russian and Kyrgyz languages, with the issuance of two diplomas according to modern educational standards,” he added.

In addition, since 2019, the project "Russian Teacher Abroad" has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan.

“From 2024 to 2025, more than 200 teachers, including specialists in primary education, physics, mathematics, and geography, worked in Kyrgyz schools, sharing their experience and methodological developments with local colleagues. They jointly sought new approaches to teaching. We are also ready to continue supporting the training of future educators and teachers within the framework of the annual quota allocated by the Russian government,” noted Alexey Poida.
