The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations is sending a group of young researchers to participate in a scientific internship to be held in the People's Republic of China. According to the ministry, the selection of candidates was conducted through an open competition.
The internship is organized as part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The main research areas include medicine, agriculture, geology, seismology, ecology, biotechnology, and green economy.
The criteria for selecting participants did not depend on the presence of an academic degree; the main factors were professional skills, active participation in scientific activities, and knowledge of the English language. Participants in the program must not exceed 45 years of age, and the duration of the internship ranges from three to twelve months.

The ministry also instructed the researchers to study China's experience in socio-economic development and improving living standards, in line with their scientific directions. Upon completion of the internship, each participant is required to present a project aimed at solving relevant issues in Kyrgyzstan, applying the knowledge gained.

Today, the Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kemel Sadykov, met with the selected participants, congratulating them on successfully passing the selection and wishing them good luck.
“This internship is not just training. It is an opportunity to see the level of world science, get acquainted with advanced technologies, and exchange experiences. Each of you will contribute to the future of Kyrgyz science,” he noted.
Sadykov emphasized that the participants have an important task — not only to acquire new knowledge but also to bring back ideas and solutions that will help develop science and technology in Kyrgyzstan.
“You are the face of Kyrgyzstan, and great hopes are placed on you. Use your internship time as effectively as possible and apply the knowledge gained in practice,” he added.
At the end of the meeting, the deputy minister wished the young scientists perseverance, inspiration, and success in their scientific activities, emphasizing that their achievements will strengthen the international authority of Kyrgyz science.
The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue its efforts to develop the scientific potential of young researchers and expand international cooperation in the field of science.
