Drunk Driver Without a License Dragged Inspector on the Hood and Ended Up in a Detention Center

On January 19, an incident occurred in Bishkek involving a drunk driver who attempted to flee from patrol officers. As a result, he dragged one of the inspectors on the hood of his car.

According to the press service of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department, the incident took place around 6:00 PM. The driver of a Toyota Estima, being in a state of alcohol intoxication and without a driver's license, ignored the patrol officers' demands to stop. During the attempted detention, he drove with the inspector on the hood for more than 50 meters.
After the detention, it was revealed that the offender is a 37-year-old citizen T.I. A protocol was drawn up against him under Article 126 "Minor Hooliganism" of the Code of Offenses, and after completing all necessary documents, he was placed in a temporary detention cell.
