According to information provided by the GUVD of Bishkek, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and GKNB detained several bloggers who mocked the Kyrgyz language in their video.
Video material that caused significant public resonance appeared on social media. This incident was registered in the automated information system of the GUVD Bishkek, and in connection with this, a preliminary investigation has been initiated.
During operational-search activities conducted by the employees of the SPENM GUVD and GKNB, the identities of the people filmed in the video were established. They turned out to be T.K., S.S., and M.M., all born in 1991. After their identities were established, they were detained and handed over to the Investigative Service of the GUVD," the department reported.
Currently, examinations have been appointed for the legal assessment of the actions of the detainees, and further verification activities are being conducted. Based on their results, a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
