On January 20, the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek announced the start of a preliminary investigation into this incident. During the investigation, officers from the capital's police, working in the field of countering extremism and illegal migration, together with representatives of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), identified the suspects: T.K., S.S., and M.M., all born in 1991.
They were taken to the Investigative Service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. The bloggers apologized for the published content.
Following the investigation, an appropriate legal decision will be made.
