According to the agency, the incident occurred on May 29, 2025, in the basement of the store. A conflict erupted between the accused and his employee, who was in a state of alcohol intoxication. During the quarrel, the accused pushed the man, who fell and received at least one blow to the head from a hard object. Unfortunately, the victim died on the spot from a traumatic brain injury.
To conceal the crime, the pensioner dismembered the victim's body with a saw and buried the remains in various parts of the city. The migrant's disappearance was noticed by a friend in June, who reported it to the police. For a long time, volunteers and law enforcement searched for the man, posting announcements on social media.
The situation became clear in September when a passerby stumbled upon a bag containing human remains in a wooded area. Expert examinations confirmed the identity of the deceased and revealed the violent nature of the death. After his arrest, the suspect confessed to the crime.
The case is currently being prepared for transfer to court. The accused may face a lengthy prison sentence.
