
Since the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has conducted operational-search activities, resulting in the detention of three foreigners who are on the international wanted list through Interpol.
The first to be detained was a citizen of an unidentified country, G. D., born in 1979, who was on the wanted list for intentionally causing serious harm to health and illegal border crossing. After his detention, he was transferred to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District of Bishkek.
The second detainee, S. V., born in 1988, was caught at the international airport "Manas" while attempting to enter Kyrgyzstan. He was wanted for facilitating the illegal stay of foreigners, fraudulent use of forged documents, and participation in a criminal community, which is also provided for by the criminal legislation of France. After his arrest, he was sent to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sokuluk District in the Chui Region.
The third detainee, A. K., born in 1986, was caught in Bishkek thanks to the "Safe City" video surveillance system. He was wanted for fraud and was also taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District.
Efforts to identify and detain individuals on the international wanted list continue and remain one of the key areas for law enforcement agencies. The measures taken allow for the effective establishment of the whereabouts of the wanted individuals and the adoption of appropriate procedural decisions in accordance with the legislation.
