In Bishkek, employees of the Internal Intelligence Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic have disrupted the activities of a group of individuals who, posing as law enforcement officers, were engaged in illegal actions. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It has been established that the fraudsters, under the pretext of conducting official checks aimed at identifying illegal activities, unlawfully entered the apartments of citizens and extorted money from them.
The investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case based on facts falling under Article 206 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, three individuals were detained: K.J. (born in 1995), J.E.J. (born in 1994), and S.A.A. (born in 1995). All of them previously worked in private security agencies.
According to preliminary information, the fraudsters committed similar crimes at 15 addresses in the capital. The extent of the damage caused is currently being determined.
