A Kyrgyz citizen detained while attempting to illegally export 10 calves abroad




On February 26, soldiers from the border detachment in Batken prevented an attempt to illegally export cattle to the territory of a neighboring state. This was reported by the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.

During the operation in the village of Ak-Tatyr, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan identified as M.A.K., born in 1988, was detained.

In his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle, there were 10 calves that he was attempting to transport across the border bypassing official checkpoints.

The detained individual and the cattle were handed over to the Border Service unit for further investigation and the preparation of necessary procedural documents in accordance with current legislation.
