The employees of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic stopped illegal activities related to the organization of gambling conducted by the deputy of the Dobo-Korgon rural council H.Sh. and his assistant S.Sh. In the village of Zhar-Kyshtak, they opened a casino without the necessary permits and without paying taxes to the state budget.
According to the intelligence service, during a search of the gambling establishment, 11 computers were seized, which were used to access various online casinos, as well as cash amounting to 400,000 soms and other items used in gambling.
Based on the collected evidence, H.Sh. and S.Sh. were charged with committing a crime under part 1 of article 219 ("Illegal organization of gambling activities") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On March 19, 2026, by the decision of the Osh City Court, the suspects were placed in custody in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
