According to the intelligence services, the illegal business was created by deputy K.Sh. from the Dobo-Korgon village council and his assistant S.Sh. In the village of Zhar-Kyshtak, they opened a casino without the appropriate license and did not pay taxes.
As a result of the search, law enforcement officers found 11 computers that were used to access the internet casino, as well as cash amounting to 400,000 soms and other equipment.
Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 219, Part 1 ("Illegal organization of gambling activities") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On March 19, the Osh City Court decided to place the suspects in the GKNB detention center.
Further investigative actions are ongoing.
