On October 31, information was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region about illegal fishing near the village of Ananyevo. It was also noted that the violators were in possession of two firearms of unknown model.
According to police data, during a check, 87 fish and two firearms were found with one of the residents of Ananyevo, born in 1990, named A.I.
This incident has been registered in the Unified Register of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, and a criminal case has been initiated under Article 310 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the investigation, other participants in the illegal activity were identified: A.I. (born 1990), a resident of Ananyevo; A.Z. (born 1991), a resident of the village of Orto-Oruktu; and B.Z. (born 1993), also a resident of the village of Orto-Oruktu.
During searches at the suspects' addresses, 11 firearms, as well as ammunition and equipment for their production, were found with A.I. Rubber boots and two life jackets were discovered with A.Z.
It should be noted that A.I. and A.Z. were interrogated as suspects and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Articles 96-97 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, the regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for the Issyk-Kul region is conducting the necessary examinations.
The investigation is ongoing.
