From November to December 2025, the Main Directorate for Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a special operation called "Foreign Citizen," aimed at identifying and eliminating violations of migration legislation.
According to the agency, during this operation, numerous protocols were drawn up under Article 431 (Violation by foreign citizens of the established procedure for staying, rules for conducting labor activities in the Kyrgyz Republic or transit) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, with a total fine amount exceeding 300,000 soms.
During inspections, places of entrepreneurial activity were examined, such as cafes, restaurants, sewing workshops, car dealerships, construction sites, as well as residential premises and other temporary residences of foreign citizens.
