The operation "Illegal-2025" resulted in the identification of more than 128 thousand violations of migration legislation. As a result, over 19 thousand decisions were made regarding the expulsion and deportation of foreign citizens from Russia, as noted by a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Volk also pointed out that out of the total number of violations, 100 thousand pertain to the rules of entry, exit, transit, and stay in the country, while 28 thousand are related to the labor activities of foreigners.
As part of the operation, about 4.8 thousand criminal cases were initiated related to the organization of illegal migration, and another 1.5 thousand cases for other crimes, including illegal drug and weapon trafficking, as well as terrorist activities.
Law enforcement agencies also managed to locate 673 individuals wanted at the federal level, 329 at the interstate level, and 37 at the international level.
