In the first ten months of this year, over 25 thousand vacancies were registered in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Saadatkul Mukambetova, a leading specialist at the Department of Employment Promotion Solutions of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, during a live broadcast on the Kabar agency.
She noted that out of the total number of vacancies, 18 thousand are already filled, while approximately 8 thousand remain available for citizens applying to the employment service.
“Employers are actively seeking employees and engaging in hiring without waiting for workers to come to them. Currently, there are about 8 thousand vacancies that we offer to those who contact us. This year, we created an information database on the labor market, where vacancies and employer contact details are posted. Paid public works are also available. Previously, the payment was 1800 soms, but now it depends on the volume of work completed,” Mukambetova said.Additionally, she added that paid public works are organized by local authorities in collaboration with the ministry. Such works include cleaning channels, preparing facilities for the winter season, and other seasonal activities.
