As part of the operation "Illegal," the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) discovered 12 foreign citizens in the territory of the SEZ city of Bishkek who were working while in the country on tourist visas. These individuals were engaged in labor activities without the necessary permits, which violates the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In cooperation with law enforcement officials, administrative measures were taken against the detained foreigners. They were fined in accordance with Article 431, Part 1 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic for violating the established order of stay and labor activity regulations.
The total amount of fines amounted to 66,000 soms.
In addition, the organization that illegally attracted foreign workers was fined 65,000 soms under Article 93 of the Code of Offenses for violations related to the attraction and use of foreign labor in the republic.
The SCNS of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly reminds employers of the consequences of non-compliance with legislation regarding the attraction and use of foreign citizens on the territory of the country.
