According to their data, from January to December 2025, there were 9,604 cases of customs violations registered. Of this number, 9,100 cases pertain to administrative offenses, while 504 cases became the subject of criminal investigations, the materials of which were transferred to the investigative department of the SCS.
After reviewing the cases, significant funds were returned to the state. In particular:
— damages amounting to over 1.1 billion soms were compensated;
— vehicles and other property, including precious metals, worth over 326 million soms were transferred to the state.
As a result, the total amount of additional revenues to the budget reached 1.5 billion soms, which is 603 million soms more compared to 2024. This is a record figure in the history of the smuggling control department's work.
Currently, the department continues to implement measures to prevent offenses, reduce the risks of illegal movement of goods, and protect the economic interests of the Kyrgyz Republic.
