According to the explanations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, starting from February 5, 2025, in accordance with Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 260-FZ, adopted on August 8, 2024, a deportation regime will be implemented in the country. This regime applies to foreign citizens who violate the rules of residence or stay in the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the new requirements, such individuals will be entered into a controlled registry. This entails a number of restrictions, including a ban on changing residence without the consent of the internal affairs authorities, restrictions on driving vehicles, as well as on real estate and vehicle transactions, including their state registration. Additionally, there will be restrictions on marriage and financial operations, such as refusal to open accounts and a limit on cash withdrawals exceeding 30,000 rubles per month.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized that in the case of repeated violations of the established requirements, measures may be taken, including administrative deportation, placement in special institutions, and recognition of further stay as undesirable.
The agency strongly recommends that citizens of Kyrgyzstan contact the diplomatic and consular representations of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia if they have any questions. "Hotlines" are available at the embassy and consulates in cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, as well as in offices in Surgut, Irkutsk, Yakutsk, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Moreover, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded about the round-the-clock operation of the citizen appeals processing center.
