On November 26, 2025, another video conference took place, during which the leadership of the Department for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia met with representatives of the diplomatic missions of the CIS countries.
During this meeting, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan once again raised the issue of the need to increase the capacity of migration departments to simplify the process of extending temporary stay periods for citizens of the republic.
In addition, the embassy reminds compatriots of the importance of strict adherence to the migration legislation of the Russian Federation, including timely applications for extensions of stay, considering the expulsion regime and the existing registry of controlled persons.
