In Kyrgyzstan, foreign citizens will begin to be fined for violating the rules of stay. This was announced by Ulan Kerimkulov, head of the Department for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at a recent press conference.
According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan will take measures in accordance with migration legislation against all offenders, including citizens of Kazakhstan.
If Kazakhs violate the terms or procedure of their stay in Kyrgyzstan, sanctions will be applied to them under Article 431 of the Code of Offenses. In particular:
- for violations of up to 1 month - a fine of 5,500 soms;
- from 1 to 2 months - 10,000 soms;
- from 2 to 6 months - 17,500 soms;
- for exceeding the stay period of more than 6 months - 20,000 soms.
