The Ministry of Foreign Affairs draws attention to the new rules that will come into effect on September 1, 2025, for citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan.
According to the new rules, citizens of Kyrgyzstan who exceed the established limits of stay (90 days in each 180-day period) may face entry restrictions into Kazakhstan.
Additionally, starting from December 1, 2025, the same rules will apply to citizens of Kazakhstan visiting Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry strongly recommends that citizens plan their trips in advance and take into account the new migration requirements of Kazakhstan, especially in cases of frequent border crossings, employment, education, medical treatment, and other long-term stay purposes.
