In Kyrgyzstan, all foreign citizens must strictly adhere to the established migration rules. This was stated by Bakyt Kadyrov, Deputy Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at today's press conference.
Kadyrov noted that each country develops its own laws and regulations to ensure security, and these rules may be periodically changed.
As an example, he cited Kazakhstan, which updated its entry and stay rules for foreigners, including citizens of Kyrgyzstan, in 2023. Now, if Kyrgyz citizens plan to stay in Kazakhstan for more than 90 days after entry, they must register at their place of residence.
In this regard, Kyrgyzstan has also introduced similar requirements for incoming foreigners. All foreigners arriving in the country are required to follow the migration laws and procedures established in Kyrgyzstan,” he emphasized.
