On January 2, 2026, the duty unit of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region received a signal about a mass brawl that occurred in the center of the rural district of the Issyk-Ata district. The conflict between young people from different villages prompted immediate intervention from law enforcement agencies.
According to information from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, the incident was registered in the established manner. Employees of the investigative-operational group, accompanied by representatives of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district, promptly arrived at the scene.
As a result of operational and preventive measures, police officers were able to identify all participants in the brawl. Ultimately, 29 individuals were taken to the internal affairs department for further investigative actions.
Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of an offense provided for by Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation revealed that the conflict began in the parking lot of one of the stores between a driver and passengers of another vehicle over a parking space. Initially, a verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, 11 individuals were detained: B.L. born in 1987, B.R. born in 1977, B.A. born in 2006, B.A. born in 2005, B.T. born in 2005, A.S. born in 2006, B.M. born in 1982, M.S. born in 1998, T.F. born in 1992, V.R. born in 1997, S.U. born in 1991.
Additionally, protocols for minor hooliganism were drawn up against 18 participants who violated public order under Article 126 of the Code of Offenses.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and relevant examinations have been appointed.
