According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, on October 21, 2023, a local resident born in 1991, S. uulu A., filed a report about the theft at the district internal affairs department.
He reported that on October 10, unknown individuals stole five heads of livestock from a fenced agricultural field, causing him damage of approximately 400,000 soms.
Investigative materials regarding this incident were registered, and a preliminary investigation began.
As a result of analyzing the collected data, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning livestock theft, and operational investigative measures were started.
Criminal investigation officers conducted the necessary actions, and on December 3, 2023, a suspect born in 1996, citizen B. uulu M., was detained. By court decision, he was placed in custody.
Currently, the Nookat district internal affairs department continues operational search activities to determine any possible connection of the detainee with other crimes.
