According to the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Osh region, on November 10, 2025, a citizen A.A., born in 1969, reported a theft to the Nookat district internal affairs department. He stated that on the night of November 9-10, in the rural area of Mirmakhmudov, unknown individuals broke into the door of a grocery store, stole 5,000 soms, and damaged the terminal, taking the money inside.
The incident was registered, and an investigation was initiated at the pre-trial stage. Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was opened under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code, and operational investigative measures were conducted.
As a result of the investigation, three more similar reports of store break-ins and money thefts were received. Four victims suffered losses totaling approximately 536,640 soms.
During the operational search activities, the suspect was detained in Osh. He turned out to be a citizen K.A., born in 1990, who was hiding from the police.
The court has imposed a preventive measure in the form of arrest. Operational activities are ongoing to determine his possible connection to other crimes.
