A citizen from Tokmok approached the Kemin District Internal Affairs Department. He reported that on November 9, he came across an advertisement for the sale of a "Volkswagen Passat" on the Lalafo platform. After communicating with the seller, he agreed to purchase the car and initially transferred 27,000 soms, followed by another 40,000 soms at the seller's request. However, after receiving the money, the seller stopped responding.
A criminal case was opened regarding this incident under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect, born in 1999, was detained. It turned out that he had previous legal issues for similar crimes. The court decided to place him under house arrest.
