The incident, reported by the victim, occurred on September 25 at a car dealership located in the residential area of Archa-Beshik. The victim stated that he was offered to exchange his "Passat," valued at 600,000 soms, for another car — a "KIA K5" or "Hyundai Sonata" with an additional payment. He agreed to the exchange; however, soon his "Passat" was sold, and he received nothing in return.
This case has been registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect, born in 2003 and identified as M.E., was detained and placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1 for a period of two months by court decision.
During the investigation, it was established that he is involved in five similar crimes. Law enforcement agencies do not rule out the possibility of other cases existing.
