It became known that a resident of Batken, T.A., filed a complaint with law enforcement about fraud. He stated that 28-year-old R.B., having gained his trust, took four devices worth a total of 57,700 soms from his store, which sells mobile phones and accessories:
- Two Redmi A5 phones,
- One Redmi Note 14 Pro+ phone,
- One Redmi Note 14 phone.
The suspect promised to return the money on June 15, 2025, but instead sold the phones to unknown individuals, spent the money on his needs, and fled without settling with T.A.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud. R.B. was declared wanted. As a result of the measures taken by the Batken City Police Department, the wanted individual was detained on November 20 in Bishkek. The next day, November 21, he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Batken District Police Department.
Additionally, it is reported that the detainee may be involved in several other similar crimes.
