As reported on December 10 by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, on December 3, 2025, a citizen identified as K.R., born in 1992, filed a theft report with the local police.
According to the victim, on November 26 at around 5:00 AM, unknown individuals opened the door of his "Audi 100" parked in the yard of his house and stole a large batch of "Dzhin" seeds from the interior. The damage amounted to 9,812 soms.
After receiving the report, the police department of Balykchy initiated a preliminary investigation. As a result of operational-search activities, criminal investigation officers detained a suspect — S.M., a resident of Balykchy, born in 1985, who already had a criminal record.
The investigation also established that the detained individual may be involved in at least six other car thefts committed in Balykchy.
All circumstances have been registered with the police department, and a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
