On December 18, 2025, a notification about the traffic accident recorded at the 64th kilometer of the Bishkek—Osh road was received by the duty unit of the Jayyl District Police Department.
Preliminary data indicates that at 19:20 on the same day, a citizen identified as U.D., born in 1989, was driving a Volkswagen Passat heading south when it collided with a Chevrolet Malibu, driven by A.M., born in 1996, who was moving in the opposite lane.
After the collision, the Volkswagen Passat ran into a trailer of a Mercedes-Benz 2040, which was parked on the eastern side of the road and belonged to N.A., born in 1965.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat, U.D., and his passengers B.T., born in 1996, and A.A., born in 1975, were taken to a medical facility with various injuries.
Unfortunately, one of the passengers of the Volkswagen Passat, R.K., born in 1991, died at the scene from his injuries.
Passengers of the Chevrolet Malibu, I.A., born in 1969, and B.S., born in 2015, were also injured and were sent to the hospital.
Currently, forensic examinations are being conducted in connection with this incident, and the drivers of the vehicles underwent medical testing.
