Sergeant of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zh.U.N., born in 2000, was driving a Toyota Highlander crossover along Central Street. His fellow servicemen were in the vehicle.
According to preliminary information, the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle but lost control. As a result, he ran over the pedestrian, Zh.K.D., born in 1960, who was on the roadside observing the work of an excavator called in for municipal work. After colliding with the pedestrian, the car continued moving and crashed into the excavator.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries. Additionally, three passengers in the Toyota, K.U.A. (born in 1989), O.U.K. (born in 1982), and N.M.K. (born in 1989), sustained injuries.
