According to information from the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Interior Ministry of Chui Region, on December 12, 2025, at around 17:00, at the 15th kilometer of the Bishkek-Kara-Balta highway, near the "Azamat" car market, the driver of a "Mercedes-Benz" decided to turn towards the capital, ignoring traffic signs. At that moment, his vehicle collided with a "Hyundai Palisade".
As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Mercedes-Benz" and his passenger died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the "Hyundai Palisade" were hospitalized at the Sokuluk Territorial Hospital.
