According to sources in the regional police department, a woman named I. A. (born in 1976) filed a complaint with the Tokmok police, expressing her desire for measures to be taken against her son, I. S. (born in 1992).
According to I. A., in October, her son, under the influence of alcohol, used obscene language and inflicted bodily harm on her, resulting in the woman suffering a fracture of her left arm. A forensic medical examination confirmed that the harm caused to her health was of a less serious nature.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 177 "Domestic Violence" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, 31-year-old I. S. was detained on suspicion of committing this crime and placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
