A woman named K.T., living in the village of Zheti-Tash in the Ken-Talaa ayil district, reported that her husband, 41-year-old M.A., suffered severe injuries from an attack by an unknown assailant at night.
The incident occurred on April 17, 2025, around 10:40 PM. The unknown person called the man outside, initially speaking to him as a friend, and then suddenly struck him on the leg, after which he delivered several blows with a metal object resembling a crowbar, threatening him with violence. "My husband managed to wrest the object away and miraculously survived. The attacker fled, and my husband was taken to the Kulundinsk Territorial Hospital in serious condition. We were informed that the criminal had already left for Moscow. Unfortunately, more than seven months have passed since then, but the investigation has yielded no results," the woman shared.
According to the press service of the Batken Regional Department of Internal Affairs, investigative actions allowed for the identification of the suspect — 28-year-old K.O., a resident of Tash-Kumyr in the Jalal-Abad region.
According to police data, on April 18, 2025, a report was received at the Kulundinsk Territorial Hospital stating that M.A. had been attacked. This fact was recorded in the electronic journal of the Leilek District Internal Affairs Department. A forensic medical examination confirmed that the man sustained minor bodily injuries. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under Article 131 ("Causing less serious harm to health").
During the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect approached the victim under the pretext of renting accommodation and, using a pre-prepared metal pipe, struck him on the leg, after which he disappeared from the scene.
The investigation also established that K.O. arrived in Kyrgyzstan on April 17, 2025, and left the country on April 21, 2025. Since June 10, 2025, he has officially been on international wanted list.
