The incident occurred on December 4, when a report was received at the internal affairs department of the Sokuluk district about the death of a 47-year-old woman in the village of Blizhniy Aral.
The investigative and operational group of the Sokuluk District Internal Affairs Department arrived at the scene, where they found the body of the woman with multiple injuries. The corpse was sent to the morgue for a forensic medical examination.
According to preliminary data from experts, the cause of death was closed traumatic brain injury, contusion of the brain, and head wounds. The case was registered under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to causing serious bodily harm.
The investigation established that on the day of the tragedy, the woman had a feast with her husband, during which they had a quarrel.
The husband of the suspect, born in 1969, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
