In the Chuy region, a driver has been detained for fatally hitting a schoolgirl. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the region.
The incident occurred on November 28, 2025, around 11:30 AM. The Sokuluk District Police Department received a report of a traffic accident that happened at the intersection of Frunze and Krasnodar streets in the village of Sokuluk.
According to available information, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene. During the investigation, it was established that the driver K.A., born in 1987, was operating a heavy-duty vehicle of the brand "FAW-CAZ250P62K2T1E" (Howo dump truck). He was traveling from east to west and, while turning left from Frunze Street onto Krasnodar Street, hit a minor resident of the village of Sokuluk, K.A., born in 2009, who was crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing from north to south. As a result of the collision, the schoolgirl sustained injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene," the press service reports.
A criminal case has been initiated against the driver under Article 312 (Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of motor vehicles) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Driver K.A. was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Necessary forensic examinations have now been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing.
