
In Sokuluk, located in the Chuy region, a man was detained on suspicion of murdering his wife, who died after severe beatings.
According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chuy region, on December 4, 2025, the Sokuluk District Police Department received information that a woman named K.E., born in 1978, had died in one of the houses in the village of Blizhniy Aral.
The investigative operational group immediately went to the scene, where an inspection was conducted. During the examination of K.E.'s body, numerous bruises and contusions were found. The corpse was sent to the morgue for further examination.
According to preliminary data from the forensic expert, K.E.'s death was caused by closed traumatic brain injury, brain contusion, and injuries to the scalp, which resulted from the inflicted blows.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 130 (Causing serious harm to health) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that the bodily injuries to the woman were inflicted by her husband E.N., with whom she had consumed alcoholic beverages the day before.
According to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, E.N., born in 1969, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
