Detention of a woman who beat her children
In Sokuluk, a woman has been detained on charges of child abuse. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
According to law enforcement, on December 3, a video appeared on social media showing a woman, presumably aged 30-35, hitting two children in a private home.
As a result of the investigation, the identities of all participants in the incident were established. It turned out that they are residents of Sokuluk: the mother — M.A., born in 1995, and her husband — N.M., born in 1988. The injured children are M.A., born in 2016, and M.M., born in 2018. All of them were referred to the investigative authorities.
The investigation revealed that the incident occurred on November 26. M.A. had been in conflict with her husband for three months and beat the children in retaliation.
A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Articles 138 and 139 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. She has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
