Events unfolded after a video surfaced on social media on December 3, showing an unidentified woman beating two children in a private home. In response, officers from the Sokuluk district police department began an investigation and soon identified the individuals involved in the incident. It turned out that they were residents of the village of Sokuluk: 28-year-old M. A., her 35-year-old husband N. M., and their children – 7-year-old M. A. and 5-year-old M. M. All of them were taken to the investigative authorities.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under articles 138 "Torture" and 139 "Threat of violence dangerous to life and health" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation established that the incident captured on video occurred on November 26, 2025. During an argument with her husband, M. A. beat her children as an act of revenge. The suspect is currently in custody in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is ongoing.
